Well, I probably shouldn't do this, but I've started another Blog. Like I don't already spend too much time at the MacBook. As some of you might have guessed, I like to cook and I love to eat. So I thought I'd share my recipes, humble as they may be and a look at "What's for Dinner at Our House." The plan is to be discovered by the Food Network for my cooking show, which hubby has titled: "Cranky Franky's in the Kitchen".
Am I ready for critics? Probably not. I know my instructions are not always clear or precise. Let me know if something doesn't make sense. Anyhow, if you're interested, check out "Dinner's Ready"

Back to Basics

We are worn out with snow removal, so this is short and sweet.

What is more basic than oven roasted chicken?  Garlic Roasted Chicken Breast, Roasted Potatoes, Saute/steam veggies.

Season some chicken breasts with salt, pepper, oregano and lots of chopped garlic.  Cut up some russet potatoes and toss them in a roasting pan with olive oil, salt and pepper.  Prep time, 20 minutes, cook time was about an hour or so. Just before the chick is ready, wash some veggies - zucchini, onion, carrot, snow peas, broccoli and saute in olive oil for a few minutes, then cover and let steam until just cooked but still a little crunchy - about 10 minutes or so.
